Study hard. Play hard. "Balance" is one of the IB learner profiles, and we encourage LILA students to participate in team sports or club activities in addition to their studies. Upper School teams are listed below. Lower School and some of the clubs that are operated by non-LILA organizations may have different forms for each club or activity (for example, Ski Club has its own form).

Ski Club (NOW open to K-12th grade!!)

Start Date: December 1st

Meeting times: Thursdays, the bus leaves right after school (picks up at both HW and Main Campus) and the return bus gets back to Main Campus at 7:15pm. You can find all the dates for the season as well as other information on the following website: www.lilaskiclub.org

Archery Team: Open to 6th-12th graders; practices are held at the Main Campus Lower School (246 11th Ave SE, Forest Lake)

Start Date: October 25th

End Date: April 13th

Cost: $125 (this includes tournament fees)

Meeting Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30-8:00pm (At Main Campus)

Start Date: Tuesday, November 15th (season will go until January 17th)

Meeting times: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (2:15-3:45)

Sports Registration Information

• Register for a Winter sport, including Girls' Basketball, Boys' Basketball, Dance, Boys' Swimming, Ski Club and Archery Team.

  • Once our online registration portal is ready, create an account and fill out all necessary information. Payment can be made through FeePay.    
    • Please use this MSHSL Physical Form link to download the MSHSL Physical Form Document (PDF). All athletes must have a sports qualifying physical on file in the athletic office. This physical is valid for 3 years from the date of the actual exam. It must be signed by the physician and uploaded to the online registration system when ready.  
    • All practice and game cancellations and other announcements will be communicated via email and/or social media.
    • Game schedules will be released when they are finalized.

Cancellation Notice: LILA strives to maintain low activity fees. We base the fees, in part, on anticipated registrations. Students will be required to pay for half of the student athletic fee, if they choose to quit after they have participated in any of the first week practices. If a student attends any practice after the first week, and then decides to quit, they will be responsible for the entire student athletic fee.
