Parent-Teacher Organization
About the PTO
The overarching mission of the Lakes International Language Academy (LILA) Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is to make school a better place for children to learn. Every parent of a student at LILA is welcome and eligible to become a member of the PTO. Parents work together to provide support by volunteering, fundraising for needed programs, equipment, and supplies, and through a variety of community-building activities. Joining the PTO gives parents an opportunity to meet other parents and contribute to the success of Lower School.
PTO Meetings
The PTO Board of Directors typically meets monthly on the third Tuesday of the month. General membership meetings are held approximately quarterly, and are open to the public. Everyone involved with LILA is encouraged to attend. PTO elections are held each April. Check the calendar on the main website landing page for dates, times, and locations.
