Dear LILA Families and Community,

Welcome to the 2025-26 school year at Lakes International Language Academy Lower School and Kinder Center! I am so excited and truly honored to serve as the principal of this amazing community– one that celebrates global citizenship, language immersion, and a love of learning.

At LILA, we believe every child brings unique strengths, perspectives, and potential to our community. Through our language immersion programs and inquiry-based approach, we empower students to explore the world around them with curiosity, compassion, and confidence. Our dedicated staff work hard to create a warm, supportive environment where academic rigor goes hand-in-hand with social-emotional learning and cultural understanding.

We also know the world is changing quickly, and the skills our students will need in the future go far beyond test scores. That’s why everything we do at LILA—from nurturing multilingualism to encouraging critical thinking and collaboration—helps prepare students not just for school, but for life. We’re giving them tools to thrive in a globally connected, innovation-driven world.
