Nutrition Services

LILA partners with the Forest Lake Area Schools Nutrition Services Department for daily breakfast and lunch service for students in grades K-12. The department follows USDA guidelines for school meals. These standards ensure meals are healthy, well balanced, and provide adequate nutrition students need to succeed at school. Ala carte food items and beverages sold to students outside of the breakfast and lunch program follow USDA Smart Snacks guidelines. Smart Snacks guidelines have reduced calories, sodium, fat and sugars to ensure students are only offered tasty and nutritious foods during the school day.

Effective the 2023-2024 school year, all students may receive one breakfast and one lunch free of charge each day at school through Minnesota's Free School Meals Program. Ala carte food and beverage items will still be available for purchase.

Student Breakfast - $0.00
