Cancellation / Refund

LILA strives to maintain low activity fees. We base the fees, in part, on anticipated registrations.

Due to the unpredictablity during COVID, here is the refund policy we will be following during the 2020-2021 school year.

If we get through 75% of the regular season, no refund. This covers admin costs, coach prep time before season begins and after seasons wraps up, finance costs to process refunds, MSHSL fees, etc.  
Any other time frame, we will refund 10% less than % remaining, based on start date of the season. The 10% covers admin costs, coach prep time before season begins, finance office costs to process refunds, MSHSL fees, etc.  
IF SCHOOL CANCELS the sport or activity:
 

If it is a person’s choice they are dropping (not due to illness or injury), usual policy applies: no refunds after first 2 weeks.

Students will be required to pay for half of the student athletic fee, if they choose to quit after they have participated in the first week of practice.

If a student attends two weeks of practice, and then decides to quit, they will be responsible for the entire student athletic fee.
